About Us

It all started with Daisy.

Long before Oaktown Barks existed, there was a little white Bichon Frise named Daisy and a dog-obsessed girl who thought she was the center of the universe. Looking back, she probably was.

That photo of Daisy and me, taken in the 1970s, captures something that never really changed. I've spent a lifetime loving dogs and finding joy in all the little things that make them who they are—the habits, expressions, routines, and personalities that only dog people truly understand.

That's why I started Oaktown Barks.

I wanted apparel that celebrated dogs the way their owners see them: not just as pets, but as family members, sidekicks, comedians, therapists, alarm systems, personal shadows, and occasional household dictators. Every design is inspired by the everyday moments dog owners recognize instantly—the quirks that make us laugh, shake our heads, and love our dogs even more.

We're proudly woman-owned and headquartered in California. All of our shirts are printed and manufactured in the USA through trusted production partners in Texas and Florida. Keeping production close to home allows us to maintain quality, support American jobs, and create products we're proud to put our name on.

We believe a favorite t-shirt should earn its place in your closet. That's why we focus on comfortable, durable unisex tees that feel great from the first wear and hold up through countless washes, dog walks, road trips, training classes, and evenings on the couch with your best friend.

No gimmicks. No fast-fashion shortcuts. Just thoughtfully designed apparel for people who understand that life is simply better with a dog.

And because dogs have given us so much, we donate 10% of our monthly gross sales to local programs that provide low or zero cost spay, neuter and vaccine services.

From Daisy to today, dogs have always been at the heart of this story.

Thanks for being part of it.
